Job Description:
A company is looking for a 508 Document Remediation
Specialist/Technical Writer to support federal civilian
agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Section 508 compliance reviews and document remediation
using Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
Edit and prepare public-facing health policy documents and training
materials in plain language
Advise on best practices for creating accessible materials and
develop document templates adhering to 508 guidelines
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in public policy, public administration,
business, English, communications, or a related field
5+ years of hands-on experience preparing and editing technical
documents
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro,
including their Accessibility Checkers
Experience tracking schedules and project milestones
Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance and have lived in the U.S.
for at least three of the last five years
