WashingtonResponsibilities
- Review and understand drawings and specifications, train the
project on their contents, and ensure project adherence to all
requirements.
- Manage the project's direct labor cost performance tracking and
projections.
- Support project Work Plan development and implementation in
field operations.
- Manage project's document control system, including drawing
revisions, RFIs, submittals, and as-builts.
- Support project productivity tracking and improvement
efforts.
- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly cost is accurate.
- Be a champion of Kiewit's "Nobody Gets Hurt" safety program
through participation in jobsite safety reviews, mass safety
meetings, and safety trainings.
- Lead project compliance with client and quality
guidelines.
- Oversee project's material procurement process, ensuring that
compliant materials and equipment are delivered on time and adhere
to project specifications.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate work groups on the jobsite.
- Support 90-Day and Five-Week schedule development in unison
with project P6 Schedule.
- Train engineers in material takeoffs, basic engineering
calculations, and technical drafting to support field
operations.
- Review submittals and RFIs for technical accuracy and
completeness.
- Negotiate, review, write, and execute agreements and contracts
with vendors and subcontractors in a timely manner and to
effectively manage project risks.
- Train others in minor solicitations and the preparation and
tracking of purchase orders and subcontracts.
- Manage project team to deliver precise schedule and narrative
updates.
- Enforce processes for basic project recordkeeping and
correspondence functions including daily reports, photographs,
submittals, requests for information (RFIs), and letters.
- Lead project cost report reviews with jobsite management.
- Maintain and audit data in the project cost system.
- Collect documentation, advise project management on the
contract, and perform the analysis and data processing needed for
change orders and disputes.
- Champion project adherence to corporate standards.
- Lead and execute contract administration plan, including
communicating, pricing, and negotiating change conditions.
- Understand and utilize information to drive project team to
make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Execute project training plan for all personnel.
- Prepare and report on periodic project review materials.
- Assist in Constructability Reviews and other design-support
functions.Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field of
engineering or equivalent experience and education.
- At least 3 years of experience in the construction field, light
rail preferred.
- Must have working knowledge of and be able to direct the
operations of at least these management systems: CPM scheduling
(Primavera P6), unit man-hour performance, budget management,
document control, change management, and subcontracts.
- Experience with leadership and management of people,
communication (verbal and written), planning and organization.
- Ability to travel and relocate as required.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship, both

vary.Base Compensation: $80,000/yr - $115,000/yr(Actual
compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as
